FEEDBACK
The 2009/10 skiing season is now over. A lot of fun has been had and much excellent skiing. the new season now looms & you
should check over your equipment, especially so since skiing can be a costly habit to maintain. In fact, it’s a good time to have
your skis professionally serviced, whilst workshops & technicians are not under too much pressure
Although the premier resorts have very obvious attractions, they are expensive. There remain other, less well-known resorts,
which have much to offer. There are also many excellent courses available in the Alps which can do much to advance personal
proficiency. Many members train with Dave Beattie, either in Kaprun in November/December or the Trois Vallees during the
main season. The Ski Club of Great Britain also offers a range of structured holidays for all levels of skier.

Club Officers & instructors arel CRB checked and in September will be attending a specialised Child Protection Course. John
Shedden, Lance Robinson, John Cooke and Alan Jones will be at the Snowsport England Coaches Conference which is being
held on 18/19 September at Chill Factor. If there is sufficient interest, we hope to be able to arrange a Level 1 Training Course for
anyone aspiring to become an instructor. This would probably take place in November.
