For most of that time the Club was based on a 45m Dendix artificial slope at The Oval Sports Centre, Bebington. Membership grew dramatically; activities included racing, instructor training, club holidays & weekends as well as a lively social programme. But, the closure of the Oval Slope for over 2 years had a marked impact - so, in 2009, we modified our plans and put a much greater focus on monthly sessions on real snow at Chill Factor in Manchester. Linked to this were social events and many members joined up for courses and trips abroad. Looking Forward   The Club has now successfully realigned itself & is building on this for the coming season. There will two three week early season courses aimed at refreshing personal performance, monthly visitsto Chill Factor, a wider range of ski-related social events, as well as one or two talks by significant figures from the world of skiing. Details will be posted on the website and members will also find fuller reports and reflections in the newsletter.
